Making of Cities is a class at MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning and examines the complex development of cities through history by tracing a diachronic accumulation of forms and spaces in specific cities, and showing how significant ideas were made manifest across distinct geographies and cultures. The class works alongside academic institutions that have already gained significant knowledge and data on their cities. Newly designed website serves as communication and project sharing platform between MIT and existing and prospective partner organizations.

The content of the website is developed by class instructors and assistants.
